When we fnd mental strength, it doesnt matter how much stress there is, what really matters is how we manage and respond to the event or problem.
This includes life style choices that effect the functioning of our body. What we eat and how active we are will effect our physical wellbeing.
This is our reponse and ability to cope and coping mechanisms to events and every day life and reflect on how we think and feel about ourselves. Its also the ability to experience and integrate meaning and purpose in life. Achieved through being connected to our inner self, nature or even a greater power, whilst respecting boundaries.
A sense of belonging and social inclusion, the way we communicate with others. Our relationships, values, beliefs, life styles and traditions are all important factors of social wellbeing. The meaning of wellbeing is multidimensional, a sense of wellness will not be achieved without having a balance in the key elements.
We are what we eat. Eating a well balanced and nutritious diet, that includes both food and fluids can contribute to a whole range of benefits. Its not always about what we intake, its also about what we dont get enough of, and possibly too much of and what reacts with other things. How things are prepared and cooked, what they are cooked in, when we eat them and what activity we do or dont do to dispose of them.
Our internal environment is equally as important as aour external environment, our hydration levels, organ function and illness all playing a part. Good nutrition can decrease stress and axiety, increase mood and energy levels and strengthen our immune system.
If our emotions, fear, happiness, bad news, exercise and illness can effect our breathing. Then as a reverse breathing can play its part effecting all that effcts it.
